Holy cow! Glad that's behind you. Passing ANY of that stuff is no fun whatsoever. You start to wonder who's "Celestial Wheaties" you pee'd in.....
Glad to hear you're on the mend!

Ron , my insides ache for you. I'm currently trying to pass a stubborn kidney stone that has been 2 years in the making. Any suggestions ,tips or tricks on how to avoid future stones. I'm tired of it already. and want it off my bucket list : ) rj

ps ,how do you know when you have gall stones?

Ron....for kidney stones, drink LOTS of water, move around, and avoid iced tea. Pray it's small, non obstructive and it passes quickly. I'm a man-nurse and I've seen grown men in tears on the floor of our ER.

Why avoid ice tea? Is it a stone maker? rj

The oxalates in tea make them quite the stone maker.

There is an herbal supplement "Royal Break-Stone" that you can get at your healthy food store.
Our Miniature Schnauzer had to have surgery for stones that resulted because he has a liver shunt. That was five years ago. I give him a dose of Royal Break-Stone every day; he has not had a problem since. YRMV

wow Ron, hope you get healed up fast and able to return to "normal" life w/o having pain all the time. I'm thinking my warranty done expired on my 59 yo body with all the aches and pains these last few years reminding me of how invincible I thought I used to be.

I got your 27 pounds when they put me on Pred last year. Please know it all went to a good home. ;-)

Get well, Ron. Being down sucks, I know.....

I installed this folding shift lever. I bent the stock one while riding last Saturday. It was usable but if I had a folding one, it wouldn't have bent. Took it for a ride tonight and I like it. It doesn't quite stick out as far, but I got used to it right away.

I bought one off Alibaba. It fit the splines perfectly but ended up being too short. For $10 it's not worth trying to send it back. Maybe someday I'll weld in an extension so I have a viable spare....maybe not.

LED's

The RX3 is now on the rack for another project (report coming soon) but while awaiting parts, I got around to installing my LED's that I've had on the shelf for a couple weeks.

I really like these. They're small, bullet shaped yet bright enough for my needs. I wired them into the "B" circuit. For some reason, sometimes when I get back from a ride I'll find the switch in "A" and I didn't want to accidentally flip them on. This happen to anyone else?

When my brother and I bought the bikes, the owner included the clamps, so I was already ahead of the game there. I think they turned out slick.
