Naturally, I am automatically tempted to mock you for needing heated gloves in LA. But I shall refrain, for now. How cold does it get there?

Also, I know from being in the military that everything not mandatory is forbidden. In pic 5 on the Amazon page, it does not show motorcycle use. Therefore it is forbidden. You had better return them.

And what the hell is SkyGenius? Where do they come up with these names?!?!?!

Edit: Just checked the weather there. It is 63 at 7:28 am. I now formally am mocking you. Here it is 49.

63 is cold in LA. You should see how slow they move when it drops below freezing.

Geez guys, lighten up. I know it's nice and warm here. You guys are just jealous. Just getting prepped for when it does drop into the 30's and 40's. Yeah I know you don't think that's cold. The cold weather doesn't really bother me But my old hands get cold easy. Once they get cold I'm done.

I suspected it might be related to your advanced age. What constitutes freezing in LA, 45 degrees?

Good advice. I will take it easy on the turns and roundabouts.

My latest purchase is a bandage for a broken collarbone. I've had a quite remarkable but early end of riding season couple of days ago . Jacket protection saved shoulder, but the impact was huge enough to break collarbone.

I picked up a 2005 Nissan Xterra for $500 from a buddy. The radiator is completely blown out across the top channel, and we think the head gaskets are toast. It's one of those "which came first" scenarios: Did the head gaskets start leaking, and the increased pressure and temperature took out the radiator, or did the radiator pop off and cook the head gaskets? Regardless, it's going to be a replacement for the Heep (that thing is going to need a transmission, and it's just not worth spending $1,800 to overhaul it), and pretty much just be an extra vehicle that we use for stuff we don't want to put in the suburban. I'll post pictures when the sun is out.
