Those bars look to have the perfect bend.

Your idea of 90 degree all-thread is better than carriage bolts. They just spin in the plywood.

The bars worked out perfectly. I had to straighten them some. The all thread was in the parts pile so I used it. My first plan was to weld something to a bolt, but them I saw the all thread and had this idea.

Have to wait until Monday for vinyl. Local stores don't have any.

She paints pretty well. The top coat paint has nozzles that I can hook her spray gun to.

OMBwarehouse messed up the order. Just shipped my parts. It needs to be done on Monday to be entered for judging. Just like on TV. Last minute drama.

Looks like USPS already has the box so if priority is still a priority I may get it by Saturday in time to slap it together.

I know. We about to go turn the AC on in the shop and put a movie on the TV. Then we can assemble in comfort.

Stay tuned for pic updates.

Just finished for tonight. Most of the new parts installed. Brake levers, cables, throttle, kill switch and exhaust. Used some hedder wrap on the exhaust pipe. Tomorrow we will make a new wider footpeg mount to clear the offset engine. Then a shield for the clutch and exhaust pipe. After that we should be able to mount up the wheels and tires.

Green paint.
Unwrapped exhaust.

Lily test fitting.

Our first homemade seat.

Emmy test the controls. She was watching the movie on the TV too.
