Any one else successfully get there bike registered in CO? DMV is claiming it's not in there list? There are several other aproved Zongs but not the RX3? (See photo). Also CSC doesn't even come up in there data base?

It is listed in the NADA guide book. CSC should have sent you a copy to bring to DMV. Otherwise have them look under California Scooters instead of Zongshen. That is how it is listed in NADA

That is excellent advice. You might also ask them to search for Zongshen ZS250GY-3, which is the official model name.

They DMV people seemed intent it had to be in there list regardless of the NADA? But CSC Talked to someone with the state and eventually got it added to there list. Bike is now plated and CSC demonstrates there stand up customer service once again!

Wow that is some quick action for something you would think would be a huge headache and take a long time to get worked out.

Good for you. I'm sure a telephone call from CSC will clear up any registration problems anywhere in the United States. After all, the bike has both EPA and CARB approval, and it is street-legal from the factory.

That is terrific news! Glad to hear that CSC was able to help.

Thanks for doing the leg work 3Banger. My XT225 should be out the door this coming weekend. As soon as the cash is in my hand I plan to place my order with CSC.

Cheers,

Dan K.

Registered my bike this morning. The only hitch was I didn't know I needed a 'vin verification' form. So I had to go to the emissions place and pay $20 for someone to check the numbers.

They also said they needed a printed signature next to the signature on the back of the title. So I called CSC and wrote in the name. No problem.

So fyi Colorado folks, and maybe others, get your vin verification before you waste time at the DMV.
