New Zongshen 250GS Owner in Arizona

I recently bought a Sierra 200 and a 250GS Zongshen. I am impressed with the sport bike, but I am going to sell the Sierra. It is in Fresno, CA and has less than 20 miles on it. I just assembled both bikes. The speedo on the GS stopped working after about 12 miles was wondering if any othter GS owners had this issue and was it the guage or the hub drive?

I went to http://www.lewpackinternational.com/ to make the purchase, the jury is still out on them as I havn't yet recvd my MSO papers in the mail. Further, also not impressed with the level of help from "mannie" at Zongshen America thus far either.

I have been riding for over 30 years and have owned 19 diff bikes, my current everyday rider is a Zrx1200r.

SWEET 1200

I had a GS like the one in your slide show. Mine was all cafed out though.

If your speedo is like the Lifan or the Longbo you need to lube the hell out of it from the start.

WELCOME

Zongshen MSO's via Lewpack Intl

well, my MSO's did in fact arrive today, some 11 days after I picked up the bikes in L.A. Now we will find out out what California really says about tagging these things.

JP Motorsports out of San Diego used to get the Qlink XR200's street registered in Calif. (the old, Zongshen twin XR200, not the new XF200 which they are able to register as well), as well as txx motorsports out of Orange County get their Chinese bikes street registered (I think they offer the Zongshen Sierra 200 as well for sale). It can be done, or at least dealers can get it done. You might be better off registering in AZ.

Zongshen Tags

well, I am keeping the GS in California, and dont want any reason to get pulled over by the "gestapo" so I am gonna plate it there. Having lived in both states, there is no question in my mind that it will be harder. Not sure if im gonna bring the Sierra here to sell or not......it will be easier for me to sell it there. so we will see. I dont need a bike down here, since I have the Mighty Zrex! (making mince-meat outta ALL C-moto's) lol

Welcome....

I have 2 questions for ya...

Is the Sierra a Zongshen Sierra? or is it Sierra Brand? If it is the Sierra Brand where did you get it? I have the Sierra Brand 200cc...and I have been trying to find out a little more info on the company...

Zongshen

Yes, mine is a Zongshen Sierra 200cc. However, mine is an 06 model. In all honesty, I am a real c-moto rookie..I think there are lots of others on this forum that could better answer your questions!
