Hello from East Tennessee

New user here,
I purchased a 3125R for my grandson and I am thinking I may buy myself a machine so I can ride with him. My concern is that I am a big guy, 6 -2 and 270. Will a 250cc haul me around? I don't want to spend more than 1200 to 1500 on this toy. Would I be better off to buy a used Japanese brand. I have good wrenching skills so repairs don't scare me.
Thanks, Stage hand

i think you would be just fine on a 250. a SunL 200cc is rated for 300lbs. With 165lbs of me on it, mine will to almost 50mph easy... too fast.

Welcome, Stage hand!

X2 on a 250 hauling you around. Yes, you'd be better off buying a used Japanese machine, if the price is under $2000.00. Japanese quads are much easier to find parts for.

That said, the China quads are a terrific value, but they require wrenching skills and a sense of humour.
