CFMoto 450SS

The marketing has been blowing up on "influencer channels"

Reading the comments, they are spicy for sure and show there is still a lot of prejudice against this supposed Ninja 400 killer.

Here's another good review of the 450.

Cheesy is the WDK (workplace drama king). Now retired. Nope, back in the saddle.

It does seem some of these newer companies really want your business whereas the big names offer bold new graphics, price increase and ridiculous dealer markups.

Two bikes I am looking at for future purchase is this 450SS and the Royal Enfield 650. Two very different bikes for very different riding experiences. I have a CFMoto dealer about 7 miles away (It's mainly a Harley dealership, but these days everyone has to diversify. They also have 4x4s, generators, etc). The RE dealer is up north in St Louis, about 50 miles.

Other bikes that intrigue me are the Honda SCL500 scrambler and the CB500F naked bike. The CFMoto is about $6K OTD, while the rest are roughly $7K.

While running errands I stopped by the CFMoto dealership. Sat on a 450SS and a 650NK. As expected, the 450 was more of a tight fit as far as leg angle. Up top felt comfortable; the clip-ons are high up and wind resistance will also help.

The 650 was quite comfortable. It was a 2022, and $1000 off! Only $5499 + shipping fees of about $600. A steal for what it is.
