It's begun!

2LZ vacation!

Mrs 2LZ and I started our vacation last Friday!
Our dear friend up in the hills (Jackson area Doc) had a killer 2 day party! I hauled our little pop-up trailer up there last week and we rode up on the Vics. What a bash! Thses pics were taken 'around the party' before it all really got going on Saturday, but you'll get the idea.

Food: Tri tip in burgandy and mushrooms sauce, herb roasted chicken, BBQ'd pork ribs and all the fixins!

The Taj Mahal with Valet Parking!

Getting the fire going!

You know you're having a good time when a 6'6", 350 lb man is singing with an umbrella!

Home today.....chores tomorrow....and then me and Mrs. 2LZ are heading out for a week with the China bikes!
Stand by!!!!!!!!!! More to come! 8O

Great pics. Have fun and thanks for keeping us in the loop!

The Victorys are fine machines. My partner has a Hammer and aside from some peculiar handling from the too wide rear time that bike is a riot to ride. Balls aplenty. It would leave a Harly being as if the Hog was pulling a boat anchor.

I've ridden both at demo days and there is really no comparing the two for power, the Victory would leave the Harley in the dust.

I started to write all sorts of things reflecting my opinion about Al Gore. I caught myself acting in a non-Christian manner and stopped.

Thanks for all the great words and thoughts folks! China Riders rocks!

Yah....back to work this week. ....but I was hired under a 'new deal' at the state and don't collect vacation as fast as the rest, so you guard it with your life.
I'm really hoping that next week will work out but man.....it's discouraging. It's bad enough when you get back from a week's vacation and have the "Post Vacation Blues"....but when you're supposed to still be on one and have to throw in the towel....that's a different game altogether. I'll survive though! More happy days ahead!

....and thanks for the kind words on the Vics. I have to say.....I'm thoroughly impressed (had mine since '02).....and that comes from an old Harley guy. An awfully fine American made product. Not a moment of regret.
Great handling, great power and I've not done one single thing to them but normal servicing. Not even a gasket weep or 'check engine light' yet.
