Your bike sounds good with the porting work! The train on the rails was cool.

Thanks, Sure feels Spunkier. This was with the 16/40 sprockets. I forgot to swap out to the 15 tooth. I'm sure that would of pulled a little harder. I'm glad I did it. I had this big grin on my face the whole time.

I was going to edit on my personal computer yesterday but for some reason Movie maker wasn't cooperating so did this quick edit at work this morning. This will be a triple purpose video. 1) show performance gain. 2) Show some video on one of the places we ride. 3) Show some video from my new Crosstour Action Camera that I bought myself for Christmas. For $40 this is one awesome camera. The camera is mounted to the front of my helmet. Video quality is degraded once converted and uploaded to YouTube. I'll have to figure out how to fix that.
Edit: I was running the 16/40 Sprocket Combo. Forgot to swap out to 15 tooth.
Damn, now sounds more meaty, didnt gave you any problem with the valves and piston by decking the head 1mm?, want to try that on my bike in the next months and need to know more details of the changes

On the stock cam, the CG250 has plenty of room in terms of piston to valve clearance to deck the head 1mm.

FWIW, while the added compression is a plus, I would focus more on the ports than I would higher compression in terms of priority.

I agree. Higher compression won't help if it can't breath. Exhaust side is very restrictive. Also proper jetting is a must. I need to put in some street time and see if I need to bump up the main any. It was hard to tell if I running lean or rich on the trails.
