Dan, this thread has really taken off, just noticed it.

I missed where you purchased the new hawk, and what color?

Turn signals are so nice being completely concealed until they're activated

You should get a decal .. Hawk SE

I got another black one.

The signals were just collecting dust so I figured why not use them. Being so low profile I shouldnt break them if I crash lol.

Sticker idea...
MegaHawk! lol

Hawk is definitely going to be here this weekend. Saia loaded it on to a trailer heading this way at 3AM in KC, so it should arrive today and I will likely get a call tomorrow to setup delivery. Friday is the day!

I can't wait. Like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

It's a good thing too, because the more time I have sitting here waiting, the more ideas I get.

Like a pair of these little spot lights I ordered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am thinking of mounting my new turn signals to the headlight plastic since they are so small, and them mounting those to the turn signal brackets.

Then either wiring them into the high beam circuit with a handlebar switch to disable, or just wiring them independently.

Speaking of wiring, I was considering installing one of these little guys and doing away with the inline fuses all together. https://www.amazon.com/Liteway-4-Cir...s=4+fuse+block

Great minds think alike Dan. lol I was looking at that same fuse block. Will work perfect for when adding the lights and other accessories. I think it's crazy having a single fuse to run everything.

Yeah, eliminating the single fuse is one part of it. Keeping the wiring a little cleaner by only having one lead come off the battery terminal is another. Plus, like you said, being able to get a quick and easy fused power source for any additional accessories like auxiliary lights is a plus.

That little block can handle up to 30A on an individual circuit and 100A through the whole unit, so the main fuse could be run through it easily. It would make a good connection point for power to the digital cluster as well.

At that price, it might be worthwhile to order two fuse blocks, in case the cover ever cracks or parts company.
Dan, you've probably already wired the spot lights in your mind. For the benefit of those who don't have electrical experience, it would be best to use a relay if adding spot lights to an existing high beam circuit. That protects the high beam switch from bearing the load of the stock high beam plus the spot lights.

I agree with the relay if doing it that way. Especially if using the Halogen bulb.

In my case, given the fact that the LED headlamp I am going to use draws a third of the current of a standard H4 Halogen bulb, it could easily handle the extra load. In fact, if you add up the 18W high beam of the bulb I will be using with the 20W (10W ea.) of the spot lights, they still draw less power than a standard H4 high beam halogen bulb. Those little spot lights only draw about .5 to .6 amps each.

I will probably just put them on their own fused circuit with a handlebar switch, so it's a moot point anyway.

I am drowning in parts now. It makes waiting for the bike much more difficult!

Those little spot lights are the perfect size to go in place of the turn signal. I also got that little fuse block in as well, and it shouldn't be hard to find a place for it to fit. I might bolt it through the air box right near the starter solenoid.

The YSS fork valves came in. I am very hopeful they will work. I think those are enough to transform the front suspension into something excellent.

Just waiting on the Aliexpress parts to show up. Hopefully in time for next weekend. They should be quick and easy installs and I can get it on the road
