What do you mean about missing the two fork holes?

I am thinking forklift holes. Must have hit the bike with the forklift.

If it isn't a forklift, then I am not sure what to make of the problem?

Was flatlandsouth82 operating the forklift and missed the forklift holes?

Put one of my Harley brake pads on the side stand to give it more area so it won't sink in our Florida sand.

Finished V1.1 of the crash bars on my bike. Might paint it black but it is good for awhile.

Ordered my 2022 DF250RTG from Venom Motorsports back on 3/24, tracking currently shows a delivery date of 4/4.

Definitely looking forward to having a moto again!

Ruger,

She was delivered just before 2:00 PM yesterday (April 4th), so less than 12 days from order placed to delivery.

I'm lazy, so I paid for the whole "Fully Assembled + PDI + Tested" and "Rush Processing".

Only issues I've found so far are as follows:

1.) Both top tabs on the right side cover are broken.

2.) Deep scratch on left side of tank.

Contacted Venom by phone within an hour of delivery and started the whole process of addressing these issues via email (described damage and sent photos). Received email response within half an hour (asked for additional photos), and another message this morning confirming the replacement components:

1.) Battery Cover (which I don't believe is correct, as that would be the left side)
2.) White Automotive Paint Pen (Not sure if that will be enough since the scratch is down to the bare metal and quite large)

Sent these responses earlier today, just waiting to hear back.

Ruger,
Sorry to hear about the issues with your new bike. Like that white color.

I just received a private message from flatlandsouth82.

"Number one do you think an uprgraded cdi would be useful? And two when i blip the throttle quickly the bike dies could that be due to lean condition.?"

I replied that I didn't think changing the CDI is necessary and to make sure the motor is warmed up before blipping the throttle. I don't have a problem with blipping the throttle when the engine is warmed up.

Also I don't have a problem with getting private messages but suggested that he ask the questions here as others might have a different/better opinion than me and more experience than me.

My DF250RTG is stock except for changing the seat, adding saddle bags, adding a pad to keep the heel of my boot off the muffler, adding a pad on the bottom of the kick stand and adding crash bars.
Oh and I removed the air injection system for cosmetic reasons.

She is running just fine with the stock jetting and the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe.

About 56 miles on the clock.

First mod - ProTaper YZ Lo bars and Pro Grip 714 grips.

Going to see how she feels after some time, but I do have a 35T rear sprocket available if I see fit.

Waiting on some mirrors and replacement turn signals to arrive.

The negative wire on my tail light needed to be re-soldered, and the bulb in my right rear turn signal had some kind of catastrophic failure. The glass was completely disintegrated/missing from inside the housing and the base of the bulb itself refused to come out.

Been in communication with Venom about the issues mentioned earlier, including a missing coupler for the NIBBI carb I ordered and now the lighting issues.

Pro tip for anyone buying this model: Replace ALL light bulbs ASAP. The ones it comes equipped with look to have been manufactured in someone's backyard toolshed...

Couldn’t wrap up my first weekend with the DF without at least one more issue.

This one happened while riding which was a fun little surprise.

Looks like the right rear shock cap somehow became unscrewed.

Did you lose the starboard side cover?

I have the right side cover, but it arrived with both top tabs broken so waiting on a replacement.
