I would just drill it and use a better grade bolt and a nylock nut .
Chineese 8.8 just means that they recycled 8.8 plastic milk bags while making the “I can’t beleive it’s not butter “ bolts they use on most of these bikes .

I took the bike out again . The shifter is working for now . I’m waiting on Amazon to deliver my new shifter. I’ve put a about 50 miles on her. Bike is fun and easy to ride and maneuver. I’m sure a super Moto version would be fun.

Now the bad.
I stopped to fill the tank and left about two inches from the top. I put the gas lid on and off I went to a stop light . I looked down and fuel is spewing out from the lid running everywhere dripping on the exhaust and steaming! Not happy! I pulled back into the gas station attempted to wipe up the mess. I had to continue to stop and release the pressure every few miles as gas was spraying all over me . I was covered in gas.

I saw Motocheez had the same problem on his video.

Anyone else experiencing this issue. Because this sucks. I didn’t fill it to the top.

Hi Spins.....glad you are enjoying the new Brozz..! yes, the fuel leaking problem has been discussed on here before,..is somewhat an issue for sure.
A few things you can do: only fill to a level well below the bottom of the cap,.....some on here have modified their stock cap, by cutting off the lower part of the venting chamber,......and third, replace with a GENUINE OEM Honda gas cap (which is what I did on mine)..no more leakage, and its a 100% exact replacement.

Thanks cycleway4!

If I decide to cut the stock lid would I gut the internals and perhaps reinstall the black cap?

This was really annoying today and ruined my ride. Definitely something I don’t want to relive.

I'm not 100% sure of the best routes to go with cutting...have read some different scenarios.
So I went the new cap route,.a little pricey,..but a sure fix, and you retain all the venting features, without leaks, the cap was intended to provide.

When it comes to gasoline and a hot exhaust, you took the wise choice..
