175cc is 43% smaller than 250cc. That's significant. Also if your 250 was a 2 stroke there's no comparison.

My 175 will run 60 comfortably and it will top out at 73 under optimal conditions which hardly ever exist. Overall I try to be gentle on this 40 year old restored classic.

Still I'd rather walk than drive a Pris.

My first car was an 82 Chevette diesel. I got better mileage than a prius with only one battery needed.

The Chevette is a good little car, and with a 4 speed, interesting. That's what I like.

I had a friend in college who used to brag to the ladies about his 'Vette. Imagine the rejection whaen they saw the Chevette rather than a Corvette!
