I have confirmed the EBC FA185 brake pads fit the front brake caliper of the RX3. I also used the stock, Zongshen pad spring for the installation. You can read about the details of my installation at the following thread.

Forum member TheDoc62 has informed us the Zongshen RX3 is being sold in Italy as the Overbikes Tourer 250.

The Italian bike has several nice features which are different from our RX3 bike in North America.

Different Decals
Different Rear Brake Caliper
Larger Rear Brake Rotor
Guard Covering Rear Brake Master Cylinder

However, the Italian bike doesn't have the stainless steel, exhaust header. I also has a shorter front fender.

And it looks like Italian don't have the front engine guards on either ???? Does it have a larger rear rotor or a smaller 15" rear tire that makes it look like a bigger rotor? Me no speakadee spaghetti lingo .

FWIW I posted a little pic tutorial on installing the lowering link on my RX3 yesterday. Don't know it warrants a sticky in the "mods and maintenance" section and will leave it up to you mods, enjoy, rj

I think you're right, rjmorel... the rear is a 15" wheel and tire per the link that Spud posted. And you're an eagle-eye... you're right, no skid plate!

The translated page (courtesy of Google Translate) says:

I don't know. Perhaps you are correct. The Italian website doesn't specify the size of the rear brake rotor. However, the rear brake caliper has two pistons, and looks much like the front brake caliper. Our rear brake caliper has a single piston.

Interesting that they upgraded the rear brakes instead of the front. I can already lock up the rear with our single piston brake. It's the front that needs help. I plan to follow spud's lead and get some FA185s.

You're right; I need to take care not to lock up the rear brake on my RX3. It has more than enough stopping power.

The Honda/EBC FA185 brake pads do a good job. They fit easily, and naturally into the front brake caliper with the stock spring. They fit so well, if you didn't know better, you would be convinced they were the stock brake pads. However, they perform much better than the stock brake pads.

Also showing only blue or orange for color choice.
Doesn't mention alternator output, so probably lower than what CSC has spec'd for USA.

Wonder if the exhaust smells of garlic?

Must be our lucky day boys. I see CSC has the lowering link marked down $25 to $74.95 and the aluminum skid plate marked down $40 to $89.95. Look under accessories / body/guards. rj

I bought mine less than two weeks ago and have not installed it. Wonder if I can get a 2-week price guarantee. Then I would use the difference in price to have CSC install the bearings in the lowering link.
