I just got a thorough beating on Instagram from this guy over my China bike. A complete stranger. He went on and on and on in the comments about how my bike sucks and his 14 bikes are so much better and he’s so wealthy. Wanted a penis contest about wealth but at least I crushed him in the end of it all.

This Guy-click to see

Not at all embarrassed about the bike. In fact, I’m embarrassed for any loser that goes around putting down bikes at all. There is supposed to be a brotherhood/sisterhood among riders of all types. If you’re not part of that brotherhood, treating other bikers well, you’re a loser. That’s my take.

a quick view of his profile, and i see he needs to learn how to ride better....LOL maybe concentrate on riding one bike and doing it well, rather than bragging about 14 bikes and about blowing your knee out... thopse bruises look painful

Never, I never feel embarrassed by my bike.
It's purpose bought.

I live in a small "Tiny" city in the country. (Amish County).
My city's speed limit is 35-ish with 55ish speed limit back roads and highways.

Being I live in the country, my bike can handle the terrane off road (lets see a Ninja or Harley do that) and, get me to the neighboring larger cities.

I don't understand why ppl have an issue with "Made in China"

Many of the daily items we use come from places other than USA and Japan.
I haven't seen a Made in Japan sticker in a decade.
And, I don't care what automobile someone mentions-it will have parts that were made in China.

Most shoes we wear come from China too.

We don't gripe about our shoes being from China do we? Those 100.00 Sketcher shoes are made in China.

Just an example.

Are you embarrassed to wear Sketchers?

Note to the wise, not all is as seen.

Honda exports more than 200,000 motorcycles made in China to Japan, Africa and the Middle East. ... These motorcycles are made using parts from multiple countries.

Show me something a Honda 230f can do that my TBR can't.....I'll wait.......

True!!

I had a guy who kept saying his Honda 230f cost 4 grand and it was better.

I said OK cool, lets go trail riding some day. A week later we did.

When we did meet up for the trail ride, he kept saying little things about how great his bike is and such. He kept saying I should save up for a Honda or similar. (Like I can't afford to go buy a 5 grand bike flat out) I can but I wanted a TBR7.
Anyways, we had to cross a stream that was about "foot"-ish deep. I went first and crossed it just fine.

He followed in my path and his died out half way across. He couldn't get it re-started.

I looked back at him and yelled, 1500 seems better than 4 grand, see ya.

I left him there and finished the trail.

Normally I wouldn't leave someone behind but this guy was an arse.

Not embarrassed but...
I'm an introvert, and loner at my base.
I look for ways to be as low key as possible.

That being said,
Riding a CT70 clone (whatever the engine size is)
is decidedly NOT how to do that.

From my Odes 50, to my Panda Trail Rider, to my RedCat 50,
And now to the Icebear Champion,
I can't stop for gas, go through a drive through, Go to a store,
or even stop at a redlight, Without getting a story about how...

"My neighbor had one of those when I was a kid, I always wanted one." *
Or
"I've wanted one of those since I was 9." *
Or
"We need one of those for our RV (snowbirds) to replace our scooter." *
Or get questioned, for example...

"How fast does that go, is it street legal? Where can I get one?" *
Or
"Dude that thing is So cool, how much do those cost?" *
Or
"Is the maintenance high, I heard Chinese Bikes are hard to keep running."
Or
"Where did you get that front rack!?" $$
Or
"You don't "REALLY" ride that thing though, it's just around town right?" #

I'm more weary of the attention than anything.
JCB

* "Well, they're available online at quite a few sites for as little as $900."
Then they immediately discard that information because "chinabike"...

$$ "DrATV has them they're made for the CT90/110
but with minor mods fit the CT70 like they're made for it
and will carry at least 60lbs...
Not that you should carry that much on your handlebars, Just saying."

# Point them in the direction of my online videos.

I would rather ride a $1200 motorcycle and impress you by the type of person I am.

Besides, the smile on my face is the same if the bike I am riding cost me $500 or $20,000/
That's it right there. I don't care what people think about me in other aspects of my life, so why would I on this one? I'm having fun riding my china bike, and that's all that matters to me.

You give me a reason to drink.

I told her to stay right in the mud hole. She went left. Now her nickname is "Swamp Thing."

Every hill is climbable, if you're brave enough.

Let's go to the jewelry store, she said. It'll be fun, she said.
