HARD BRAKES

Loose the cable adjusters at the hand lever ( when you get a new one) and then it will be easier to apply the hand brakes.. I do this for soem of the buyers with small kids... but they like the ZSTAR models because they have a rear foot brake system thet you use your foot instead of a hand applied rear brake...

I got the new brake switch. I just cut off the plugs and soldered my old connector on to the leads. A little shrink sleeve and a heat gun and it was ready. Got it on the bike and it worked like a charm.

The kid is happy.

I did order another brake switch just to have on hand. I figure if the original only lasted a few months the chances of it giving out again are pretty good. The darn things are so cheaply made it is pathetic. They could spend a few dollars more and make 'em out of metal and they would never go bad.
