I actually have been doing some modest jumping on mine, with no failures to report, but as I stated, my suspension seems to be a bit softer than what others have reported. Travel seems to be about 6" or so using a tape measure a the rear tire It squats about 2 -3 inches when I'm on it and I weigh in at a bit hefty 220 at 6". The jumps I've been hitting in my back-yard are a 2 foot peak dirt ramp and a 3 foot tabletop Been hitting then reasonably hard clearing air on both wheels.

Liverchip,
I'm gonna go try a double backflip on my GY, I'll let ya know how it turns out..(Nurse saying to Doctor, "Can you re-build him??) Kidding, I've jumped her a few times but I usually just hop the curb to pick up my Chinese food on my way home, Ironic...

Pumpkin,
Glad your OK and it's a somewhat easy fix, I'm sure you and Sam can come up with a grade 8 bullet proof fix...

BBR makes a frame cradle for the Honda XR100 that ties the frame together. The XR100 frame is known to open up when jumped, and you only find out after trying to reinstall the engine that the frame is bent.

I doubt the BBR cradle will fit, but looking at it might give you some ideas on a home-made cradle.

I would be tempted to take a Utah Sports skid plate for an XR200 to use as a base, then find a good metal worker to fab up some serious aluminum frame mounts to make a frame cradle.

Wow that's it exactly. Not too hard to fab up IMO.

Hey, you don't have to be young to know about computers!

I'm an old fart and know plenty about them. I watched the Six million Dollar man too!

Pumpkin,
Did you try Lowe's? They have some metric bolts and nuts. Maybe metric washers too! Make sure you ask!

Brandon, SamM, all you guys

No way your young uns, old farts are born in the 60's like me 1962.
Pumpkin
You may want a metric bolt equal to a SAE Grade 5, you want it to have some flex. Too hard and it will snap right off again.

Born in 71, watched Six Million Dollar Man, in its 1st prime time run, NO repeats here... I do remember sitting right in front of the mammoth Zenith/piece of furniture TV with my SMDM 12" action figure, my S.W.A.T. Van and figures and the 2 guys from Emergency 51 and sometimes my Battlestar Gallactica figures... TV used to be so cool....

Born a year earlier watched Six Million Dollar Man watched a taping of it at universal studios on a trip to Ca played with "army men" and "Emergency " is one of the reasons I became a medic. Also if you
get the chance, watch Bill Cosby in the movie "Mother, Jugs and Speed"
