That's cool!!
Yea some of them will be up there. Yes on Hyosung, Kymco, Zongshen. UM maybe, I only say this because they are already in trouble in FL. I was told at the Dealer show by a Hyosung Rep. that in FL you can only have the same brands {even by manufacturer} a certain distance from each other and UM overstepped their bounds. UM will just have to watch their P's & Q's.
Vento also, is not doing well at all. The US marketing manager went from Vento went to UM...he didn't say a lot but you could read between the lines! Vento's booth was really small at the show this year and that's not a good sign. I have seen this before when a company is getting ready to go under.
As for you owning a China bike...ha ha I expect soon that there is going to be a lot of competition between the Japanese & the Chinese. Ya know why I'm sure...The Chinese make most of the Big 4 parts!!!

Absofreakin'lutley! My daughter's Yamaha TT-R125E was made in China. Linhai makes a fair amount of parts and some of Yamaha's scooters. Actually, I think Yamaha owns Linhai. Hyosung was making parts and the SV650 engine for Suzuki and reverse engineered the SV engine, changing just enough, to call it theirs. They then sold them to UM. I think UM rebadges some of the Hyosung bikes. The list goes on and on! You could write a book based on the connections and agreements alone.

I've also heard that Vento isn't doing well but they are well funded and should rebound with some good future products. Deep, deep, pockets!
