It won't run well with no exhaust. Way too lean.

I really like my 45T and I think the stock 46T is a real good in between size. Gives you lower rpm for street, but still some off-road ability.

I received my 42 sprocket from Bruce (EJcycles) yesterday. The package says it is high carbon steel. Can't wait to put it on the bike.

I was going to go to the rumble on the ridge tomorrow but it is raining too much here for me to even consider it. I don't have the tread or confidence to ride in mud.

The sprocket was here in 2 days from being sent out. Very quick service.[/i]

Mud is fun, but if you are unsure the it is better to wait until you have more skills.

The stock CST tires actually did okay in the mud for me.

The new duros don't like it all.

Zap,
Probably one of the best mods your bike will ever see... Getting the C-clip off is a pain, get a clip puller/spreader it'll save you alot of time and hassle...

you can say that again katoranger I went from a 98 main to a 115 after the exhaust mod.

I'm thinking of changing the tires on my wifes bike just to see if it will help her offroad.

No exhaust is a good way to do engine damage too.

TC, tires can make alot of difference in the ride. Since you stay mostly off-road I would put some pure dirts or 90/10 DOT tires on it.

Kenda Trakmaster is an aggressive DOT tire.
