The valves do tap a fair bit, it's normal.

So my valves are set at 0.003". They sound like a sewing machine. My bike manual (the one that says I have an O ring chain) calls for 0.005mm and 0.008mm. The 0.008mm and 0.003" are about the same. So am I getting all the noise from the intake setting? It does run well so far. Maybe the noise will get better with time. Thanks ARH for posting. Yep, I set all of my CG motors at:
Intake .05mm
Exhaust .08mm

Ice cold, overnight. Never a problem.
Congrats on the new bike! Great pic.....

There's something about riding a motorcycle that puts a smile on your face. I took my 16 year old out for her 1st ride on a motorcycle a few weeks back. ( She had to beg here mom to let her go) Now every time I pull the bike out she grabs her helmet and want to go ride. She's getting her learners permit. May have to get a scooter for her so she can come ride with me.
Priceless!

Glad to read that you like it . I was a bit concerned as you sure jumped right in after I bought one . I was sure you read enough of my stuff on the wing forum to assure you I am a bit off , a bit compulsive addictive personality, & generally not normal by any means . . I buy bikes like most buy consumables . But hey for the money , this is the most fun I had with a bike since I bought my first gsxr years ago.

Nice scooter. But I was looking to get her a Enduro 150 style scooter like this so she can ride off road with me to get use to the bike before I let her get out on the road with it. She is already practicing parallel park with here UTV. I put mirrors on it so she can get use to using mirror when driving.
