sales@dobeckperformance.com,

neither link working, I think it's because of the comma, period on the end ???? rj

It works for me, but it inserts the address into my default email account. It may be easier to just copy and paste into the "To" line in your email.

I sent an email to request more info / timing. Great to hear that they're interested!

Indeed, that's probably the best solution. However, I did edit his post to erase the period. Try the link again, and see if it works.

I'm bumping this thread back to the top. If you guys are interested in an EJK controller for the RX3's fuel system, please send an email to sales@dobeckperformance.com, and let them know.

No, I don't have anything new to report. I think the fuel map in the Delphi MT05 ECU is performing pretty well, so there seems to be little interest from most RX3 owners to seek an aftermarket fix.

some questions to think about...

#1 - What stops the ECU looking for the signal from the O2 sencer if it's removed?

#2 - Have they managed to reprogramme/flash the ECU so it turns a blind eye to not having some of the info it is programmed to use......

#3 - The O2 sencer is what lets the ECU know what the AF ratio is , So where is this info now coming from ?..

Heaps of these things all over the net in verying degrees of nasty....

To be fair, many EFI systems will remove the typical "narrow band" sensor because they are designed to target 14.7:1 Air/Fuel ratios. 14.7:1 is great for efficiency, but for all out power the target Air/Fuel ratio needs to be richer.
For this reason there are many EFI systems that will not have an O2 sensor. Wide band sensors are expensive and finicky. The Honda/Kawasaki/KTM off road bikes all use systems that do not have O2 sensors.

Some of the ECM's I have tuned do allow you to select the range and time delay for the O2 sensor to kick in; on my old bike you could have the O2 sensor affect only the highway cruise part of the map, but it then adjusted the fuel calculations for the entire map. For all out HP on the same bike the O2 probe could be disabled.

the bikes you are quoteing never had them so the ECU was not programmed
to look for info from a O2 sencer....

but if it did have then was removed ?... there must be a gap in
the info the ECU is receiving....

my XT660R has 2 AF ratios...open & closed loop..
in short one for cruse & a richer one for accelerating..
I have a A/F control but still has the O2 sencer...
