You are wise to rest. I hope you feel better soon.

This isn't just all about you...there are several of us waiting to see your orange bike up and running, and a few sniffles shouldn't stop us from this!! You are just being selfish

OK, yes, kidding!! Feel better....

Thanks for the kind words all. With everything going on right now I'll do my best to have it ready by the weekend.

Had a spare hour tonight so got a little bit done. The wiring is terrible so I spent some time fixing that. Lots more to do.

You are wise to fix the wiring now, rather than having problems later.

Anyone have any suggestions for torque specs for the bike's fastners? Maybe a Japanese bike repair manual to use as a reference? THANKS!

If I recall, the axles on my Q were 45 lb(?). I'd not go too terribly tight on the fastners but use loc-tite. My experience with Chinese fasteners, especially on my Hondanoids has been that they are FAR softer metal than their Japanese counterparts. Some small bolts are very easy to spin a head off or strip them with just a small 10mm wrench.

That's a good looking motorcycle; I like the orange color scheme.

We need to run dossbag's green versus my orange to confirm the orange adds 5hp theory.

Thanks. I will do an epa delete and a powercore muffler at some point. A mikuni 30mm will follow soon after. After that just things to make the bike safer and more reliable.
