thank you for the reminder Kato!!! i am currently waiting on the background check and drug screen results, not for the small engine spot, but for the Pro services desk at the local Lowes... i hd an interview with them for another spot, and was told they filled it, pretty much wrote them off, then out of the blue i got a call from them last wednesday, they wanted me to come in and talk... we talked wage and they had me do the drug screen and give them all the info for a background check... just waiting on the results, then i start orientation!!! God is good, and He has provided for my wife and i!!!

so... wow... interesting turn of events... friday night i got a call from the small engine shop... i hadnt heard back from lowes yet on the background and such, so i scheduled an interview... turns out the guy they originally hired lied about his background, so they did not hire him... they offered the job to me this morning, and i accepted... i feel this is a much better suited job for me, as i am very much a hands on kind of guy, and lowes would have been basically a desk job... and, the kicker? this shop is closed on sundays, whereas lowes wanted me to work on sundays, which i have a moral and religious objection to... i am waiting on thier background check now, they said it would be a few days, likely 2-3, and then i start work setting up new John Deere mowers and working on JD and Stihl products... and whatever else people want to bring in and pay $75/hr shop rates...LOL

Awesome! All in God's timing, and you'll appreciate the no-Sunday deal that much more. Congrats!

Nice. I was just checking out some JD tractors at the state fair. Would like to have one of the smaller loader tractors.
