I received all the documents necessary for registration before my bike arrived. Therefore, after the local police completed the VIN inspection at my home, I brought all the necessary documents to the DMV. I paid my taxes, title, and registration fees, and walked out of the DMV with a license plate after ten minutes. I had contacted my insurance company, and had insured the bike before it arrived. Therefore, after I returned home from the DMV, I completed the assembly of the bike, attached my license plate, and went for a ride.

Regarding the chain, since the wheels came off for your tire swap, it's possible that the rear was installed with the chain just a tad looser than normal. Not knowing your weight, I suggest you sit on the bike with your friend holding it upright, then reach down to feel the slack. As the swing arm rises, the amount of slack is reduced. That red is sharp. Now go get more mud on it. |
