Does anyone carry Skyteam in Canada? I know that Pitster's retro minis are Skyteam bikes and are sold thru Pitster's Canadian distributor, but they do that in the US, too.

Pitster Pro is supposed to be expanding their lineup of the Skyteam bikes... They told me that about a year ago though and I haven't seen it, so I wouldn't want to hold my breath! :roll:

Visionary Motorsports (the importer of Pitster Pro, etc) have imported the Cleveland Cycle Werks line into Canada, so there's hope that they'll expand the Skyteam line.

Sorry to start to hijack the thread, but yes, your folding footpegs, as well as your flames (and Suzuki 'S') bring out the looks of your bike. I do want to see you on the autobahn riding it (no, just kidding...)

@culcune
I've actually been on the autobahn with my Skyteam. Only for short distances though. Most autobahns near here have a speed limit of 130kmH. Some people don't mind the signs though, so its kind of a bad felling when your riding 90KmH and a car flys by with 200 or more KmH! Most police radars are in the 60-80-100KmH autobahn zones. I don't recall seeing one in a 130KmH zone. It's no fun always going straight ahead anyway...!

@Spud
THanks. I've had the chance of testing folding pegs touching the ground!! They work excellent without breaking. THe bad thing, is that I have it on video..Or is that a good thing? I am hesitant of posting the video..

That is an awesome looking bike! I believe it would be very popular here if they ever import it... Heck, the TW's still command top dollar in these parts! I've always had a fondness for the big tired bikes. I suspect it stems from having and ATC when I was younger .
Great job on the flames as well, looks super!

Excellent videos. What would be the cruising speed of your bike? It looks very similar to Zong. I think they sell those bikes here in Australia too.

50-55 Mph is a good cruising speed without revving the engine too much. The bike will go 62 Mph on a flat road. With back wind up to 68 Mph. I don't know how many RPMs the engine is running at 60-68 Mph. It doesn't sound healthy though to do for a long time. I'm thinking about putting other sprocket sizes, so I can ride at 55-60 with lower revving.

In Australia the are sold as "Laro"

With the low traffic out here I could ride at 50-55 and be fine.
