I very much like these small displacement little bikes. I thought about it in the plane also, but even a CT70 is too big after I looked into it more.

It would fit but would be a back breaker and even that would need some disassembly prior to fitting into the luggage compartment.

The performance of this 125 is similar to my antique CB175, but gets much better mileage.

I don't like the name either. The call it the MSX125 in other parts of the world. That sounds much better to me.

I was thinking of buying the GROM, but then I found this bike:

http://www.superiorpowersports.com/1...k127mc-05.htm#

Total costed me $1050 (bike + shipping).

For a first time mounting, this thing took almost 12 hours, but it's a blast to ride too! I prefer it much over my scooters, or Honda Shadow VT750, but the engine is slightly too small for what I need it for, and the gearbox is somewhat limited in gearings (only 4 gears).

Not nearly as good, bu still upto 60MPH, 100+ MPG when equipped with a 34T rear sprocket.

I'm actually getting 96MPG at 60MPH, and 115MPG at 35-40 MPH with a 31T (down from a 41T)

Hey ProDigit, I just read through your entire thread here: http://itistheride.boards.net/thread/1729#page=1 How is your bike now? Have you changed the gearing again? Any interest in changing to a manual clutch? Did you find the bearings you were after?
