It's a decent value at it's asking price but given the dynamics of how long it has been posted and the fact this is December I bet he'd be happy to see it gone for closer to $1,000. :-)

He put extra money into the tail light, FMF silencer, extra CDI, et cetera. It's a good deal at $1,200, and an even better deal if he will accept less.

Exactly right. In my case, prices go up right after the motorcycle show in January.
