Old but thoroughly gone through and repaired by myself. Plus new Avon tires and tubes.

Rode it 120 miles today and not a hitch. That said, she's no Gold Wing. I think I'll just use the KZ for short trips until I can feel my a$$ and my hands again. :P

Congratulations, Doc! I am glad you got the old girl running. Also, please allow me the honor of being the first to wish you a happy anniversary; you have been a member at China Riders for one year, today!

Thank you Spud! I never would have guessed! That went fast, spending time with friends.

Great news, Doc! Sounds like you and I may share the same 'perfectionist' gene in common.
FYI- I used to have one of those carb synchronizers from JC Whitney that worked like a champ, back in the old days. Nothing but a rubber diaphram with a vertical tube with plastic beads in it and little measurements on the side of the tube. Place it over the carb and you adjust each butterfly to suck the beads up at the exact height. Worked really great, especially on a Bonneville.

You could get a Bonnie to run long enough to synch the carbs? You are my hero!

The only Brit Bike I've ever been able to synchonize was a single. 8)
