Amsoil is a top quality real synthetic. Excellent choice. I use Mobil 1, got a good stock of the stuff when the downgrade in Mobil 1 base was announced. Not all Mobil 1s were, are, or will be downgraded to Rotella-type base oils, but I'm not sure which, if any. My oil expert friend is in a nursing home, apparently his end is near, so I may never have a chance to find out. When my current supply is exhausted I'll switch to Amsoil or Motul or Royal Purple or Redline, or maybe just stick with Mobil 1 since most folks will run out of the old stock long before I do and any Mobil 1 failure patterns that may develop will likely show up by then.

I got it out of the crate and put on the windshield, top box, and mirrors and I have to say, I am impressed with the quality, fit, and finish of this bike. I had read plenty of others say how good it was, so my expectations were high, but honestly, this has really impressed me - despite having high expectations already.

Unfortunately, I can't ride it yet - hoping to get it registered tomorrow morning and then get it out on the road.

I've checked the oil, tire pressure, lights, signals, and hand checked the bolts I can easily reach. Anything else I need to do or check before I take it out on a test run? I have read about the need to immediately change the oil on other Chinese bikes, but am under the impression that CSC has already taken care of this for me (am I wrong?). Did I miss anything else here?

I'm looking forward to my first ride on this bike!
Fit the 300 kit! (Kidding 90%) I would suggest a few oil changes at like 300-500 km for break in period and use mineral or follow what CSC or others have done (The MX type filter with a mesh might be good rather then new paper filters each time) or just dump oil most of it and add new most of it etc.
Check water bottle see if easy to fill version? that would be something that might drive you a bit crazy.
Can't really think of the bat what should be done from new - you'll see small upgrades here etc and those might interest you as time goes on etc.

PS I live in China I ride and RX3 I sell parts n upgrades so plz do not be offended if I suggest an item that I may or may not sell. I also ride an RX3 and that bike I bought as my 3rd as a test and product development bike.
I will be in LAX to Vegas to SLC Utah end this month early next and if on the way maybe we can catch up/drop off any parts you might like lol! (ok sorry! sales pitch n all!)
Enjoy the bike it is a decent bike and doesn't give that much issue etc and CSC looks after customer service decently/very good as well.
