I saw a YouTube where a guy mentioned the same thing. He also recommended using Windex on the tires, and demonstrated that in the video.

I'm not that concerned with removing the wheel, tire, or tube, I'm mostly concerned with getting it all to be centered, with the proper amount of chain tension, when I go to put it all back together.

Ya, I see those. I saw a youtube video where a guy (bike dealer) said not to go by those. Another video mentioned to line up the middle knobby of the tire with the bottom of the rear shock, since that centered on the frame.

Since you've got it apart, now is a good time to change the rear chain. I recommend Uni-Bear chain....ARH

I got the rear tube changed out when I got home today. It took me about 45 minutes from the time I put it on the stand and remove the tire and rim, Removed the tire and tube off the rim, clean whatever oil crap they had inside the tire and all over the tube, put the tire and tube back on the rim, air up and put back on the bike. This includes the texting back and forth with Ski_rush lol . Looks like the tires had turned on the rim and binder and pinched the tube. The inside of the tire was clean and spoke nuts were smooth with no burs. It went alot easier than I thought it would. I coated the tube with baby powder which made the tube easy to slide around inside the tire.

I'm still running the stock chain. It hasn't stretched any since I changed the rear sprocket about 800 mile ago. They must have upgraded there chain some from the previous year models.

Jerry Hawk250 is obviously more competent that me. I removed rear wheel from the bike, then attempted to remove the tire. Gave up after 10 minutes. Called a shop and they said they'd do it for $36. That sounded good to me... Brought them the wheel and parts and had them do it.

After texting with Jerry hawk, I wouldn't mind trying it again... But then again... It was only $36.

The shop I went to was familiar with Hawks, and they just started selling SSR Motorcycles. They had 3 different size dirt bikes and he said he is going to order the Enduro soon. He also said SSR doesn't permit drop shipping, so he had to pay for every bike he wants to hold in stock. It was cool to see China bikes catching on.

Not more competent, just watched a lot of YouTube videos lol. We have three shop here but none that sell or work on China bikes. A couple of years ago I looked into sell Chinese atvs but too much money and too much bs to get started up. Now that I got the hawk I've been thinking about doing it again.
