did they ask you to buy a VIN report as well? I sold a bike recently and had 3 guys ask for that.
I'm selling a bike right now myself. Got the vin scam twice. Took me awhile before I caught on, but I told them to purchase themselves if they were so worried about it. Look for them to say, " My Dad told me, or My mechanic told me to have "you" run a vin check at a place they provide! It's a scam.
