I think we will be doing some assembly tonight. Might get a chance to try and start it.
If anyone has a frame that could donate a peg and mount for the right side that I can make fit.

It runs. New carb. New throttle cable installed.
I don't know anything about the oil pump. Do they need to be bled? The oil tank was missing, but we replaced it and connected the line back up. It does not appear to be pumping, but I don't know if maybe it needs to be bled first.

It probably does need to be bled. On Suzuki engines (with the MIC brand pump), there is one phillips screw that is simply present to allow oil to bleed from the tank. Once oil is pumping through the two lines, check valves prevent loss. One line routes to the left side main bearing and the other to the cylinder. That system can't be defeated easily.
The Yamaha system you're faced with differs because the oil is pumped out in one hose only, and it connects to a barb on the intake tube. Since Son of Weldangrind and I didn't trust the nasty old pump on our MX175, we plugged the barb, drilled out the main jet and ran premix. Much safer.

Looks like I have some good reading here. Let's learn something new tonight.
