@Megadan .... ur idea of shaving the seat is SPOT ON!!! sir....

So I am just riding it around town to do first 150km complete ... break in period... so I just removed the seat and now I can place the whole paw down some reduction is due to my own weight too.. but seat makes huge difference.. .....

Now I know what to do in the morning ....

Found the manual

SSR manual is goo too.. but today while studying I found Cristini people have good documentation as well...

The have two seprate tables for Competition (in hours) and for normal use in KMs ...
see... This is so relaxing to learn that it has a normal schedule of maintenance nothing special or extra as long as its not in competition...

Yeah, they made those seats silly big. It should at least let you get your toes on the ground without having to sacrifice suspension travel and operation. Cheaper too lol. It will also let you get a little more space between you and the seat when you stand on the pegs.

Took out LX450 for a spin...

So a friend came over this sunday to check out the new 450 I got.... and the meet up which was suppose to be a nice morning teat together turned into an instant plan to go offroad out of the city...

Promise was not to use any HighWay or road and use river bed and or Forest reserve to reach nearest city (where there is a famous breakfast restaurant) which was the destination.

I knew what we are getting into is not going to be easy we might have to re route multiple times to avoid swamps and mud holes..

But I turned out to be an awesome adventure...

And LX450 is one hell of a Power House..... I am novice if its in right hand I am 100% sure it would do those offroads which my type of lad only see in youtube ...

As soon as the tail spins out I am freaked out

That little adventure sounds like a good time. Those 450's are no joke off-road. It takes very good throttle control to keep them upright and doing what you want them to do.

Yes absolutely

I hit a like a feet deep pot hole which was like roughly 4 feet in lenght and I saw it in last split second at a speed of 70kmh and I had my balls up in my throat.... it accelrates way faster then my old 250 dirt bike i had couple of years ago...

but I am facing one issue... the bike has vibrations above 80kmh... its handle bar becomes like loud speeaker vibrating....

there is no vibration in seat or foot pegs... but handle is unbearable...

I have a similar style handlebar on my Hawk. Most of it is from that knobby front tire. Some big bar end weights will help, and even a set of bark busters (hand guards) will tie the ends of the bars back into the center, which changes the harmonics of the bars and actually takes away a little vibration - plus they are a good idea for a bike seeing a lot of dirt time to help protect the controls. Good wheel/tire balance will also help a little bit. I do know that once I changed from the front knobby to my Shinko 705 dual sport tires, the bar vibrations almost entirely disappeared.

No matter what you do, those off road tires will transmit a bunch through the bars while riding on pavement. Good grips like Pro Taper's MX Pillow Top grips will help a little. In some extreme cases guys will fill the inside of the bars with lead shot or a high density rubber.

Other options to help with vibrations is to go up a tooth in the front, or down a couple out back to change where the revs are at the speeds you travel at, but this effect is more dramatic on non balanced engines like my little CG250 clone.

I could go for days lol.

I had a couple bikes that did this badly. One particular one was an old CZ. It was like riding a blender.
If the bar mounts come off, put some rubber washers between them and the triple tree. I went to the hardware store and bought toilet tank washers and hogged the centers out some. Super cheap and made it bearable.
You can also fill the bars with "bar snake" or just some expandable spray foam. That also helps a lot.

I presume those are aluminum bars, which are far better than steel at minimizing vibration. Pillow top grips help a lot, as do gloves that are designed for impact tools.

I should have thought of these links before--there are two ongoing discussions of the Asiawing 450 on mychinamoto. You could probably ignore the early posts if they are negative, because I believe Asiawing stepped up their quality the past couple years. Member 'Pope' is a N. American (US or Canada based on his accent on the video he posted) who bought his second hand and runs all over the town in China he is living in. He thrashes and bashes his and is impressed with how the bike takes the punishment. Unfortunately, his latest entertaining video (including a crash) seems to be unavailable. But, you might be able to obtain information that you didn't already have.

You my friend have did a great job by telling me I am in search of people who are using it.... as I rode it in wilderness the bike seems to be bada$$ ... all I am now interested is that if it would last long enough or would create problems.. if it does then how people managed it... Yea aluminum, I am planning to fill them to damp them also going to put weights on bar ends put acerbis guards as megadon said and that rubber cushion washers 2LZ is mentioning seems good idea...

travel lower with your weight on it...
if it has 300mm of travel it should sit 100mm lower under your weight...

once you have done that then start looking at lowering links and the like if it is still to tall..

I couldn't find any specs on the Suspension travel for the LX450SE, the closest analog I have is the SR450S, which is similar. If you wanted to go by the 1/3 rule, then you would be looking to achieve about 4" of front sag, and 3-3.5" rear sag with your weight fully on the bike.

The issue is the seat height of these bikes is just under 38", so even with proper sag settings the seat height of this bike compressed is still going to be like sitting on a bike with 34" between the seat and the ground, and even my tall body would be hard pressed to flat foot that.
