Ya gotta film some stuff Dan, you've been threatening to do it so sucks it up and get your camera gear together! These channels are designed to evolve so don't worry how they start out .....just start.

While I appreciate the motivational method, I don't tend to respond well to that style.

For the last 6 months I was working 60-90 hours a week, and on my limited time off had to spend most of it doing life stuff. Even going for a ride, let alone working on my bikes, was extremely rare. Even when I did have a chance, I was usually so tired that I didn't want to. Now toss in the work of filming, and editing, on top of that... Yeah you can forgive me for not leaping to my feet. Often I would substitute doing said work by trying to help other guys get their own work done. It was a way to accomplish something while not having to leave my chair.

Now I have time, but nothing with which to base them on... That part was out of my control.

Well sounds like you tend to be spread too thin, that's too bad cause you have a lot to offer but that's OK. You seem to be able to contribute well enough.

You can't be sore at me for being a little excited to get you going, I feel that I get to enjoy this build as much as my own. It's been a fun ride so far!

Try hitfilm express, pretty powerful and easy to use video editing software.

I always preferred reading solutions than watching them. I could comprehend them so much better. As long as you keep on doing what you’ve been doing that’s great. Can’t wait to read your new “Hawk is here, yay! Pt2” thread. No pressure man, money I sent along with others I’m sure was payback for all the support you’ve given. I don’t expect anything in return, you’ve already been a mega help!

One example would be a video on the front end. A video covering a basic fork oil change, and at the same time a video covering How to service the Hawk steering stem bearings, and why the grease they come with is total garbage. Some people can read books, but others need/want a visual aid.

Plus, no matter how you slice it, there were many people that had a hand in helping me out of a bad situation, and this is the only way I know how to pay it back and pay it forward.

Grabbing a camera to show what I am doing, or talk about why I am doing it doesn't take that much time. I am already meticulous when it comes to doing this kind of work. I spent 3 days off and on building my last Hawk. not all at once, but a few hours each, probably 12-14 hours in total.
Don't feel compelled to film, but if you do, we can certainly present it in a form that will be easy for others to find (or us to point to). We could slowly create a new video series in a sticky.

Thanks! I do love riding where we live and now you can see why I'm not too concerned about "open highway" performance.
That's Mrs. 2LZ Challenger. I had a 2011 Challenger and she drove a truck. Then we traded my Challenger in for a 2015 (the white one). Somehow, someway, "my" Challenger became "her" Challenger and I ended up in a Patriot. Marriage....go figure. ;-)

Well, i finally got my tracking information for the bike. It shipped two days ago, but they never thought to tell me. At least they called me right back. Thankfully they still ship with Saia.

Started getting in some of my parts as well. I should have most of it in hand next weekend.

as you have got past this very fast ,i had some issues with hit an runs with my beloved 1995 camaro z28 ,an so i installed those chinese $15.00 cams an also stickers that say the car is under constant video survailance ,an since then 4 years now not one hit, about $50.00 i got in the set up ,though one thought is how long the battery could handle the cam or just 1 cam,i plan to put a 12 volt plug on mine ,i have an app on my phone to that downloads all the video ,food for though ,happy you will be getting your new one soon n the new ones have desent night vision too ,i am thinking about a cam with its own battery too
