Here is a shot of the #94 "Chinese" Jincheng, rider is Wei Gusnghui, it is entered as a Jincheng but almost everybody believes that it is Yamaha. Loading up a few photos tonight, on the road to Ica and the Dakar tomorrow.

Must be. I just know KTM makes a 690 Single D/S. Thought that might be it.

Charito and I rode back up into the Andes for several days, it's the rainy season, a lot of roads were closed so we took alternative routes, we didn't get here we wanted to go but overall a good ride. On the weekends in the Central Andes there are a lot of restaurants and families that serve pachamanca, a traditional Inca meal that is cooked on hot rocks, in a word the food is incredible, here are the photos.

As much as I appreciate your eye for color your B&W photography is amazing. Thank you again for sharing.

The KLR is about the ideal mount for you and the lovely Charito. She looks so tiny next to it!

Doc & Spud,
Thanks for the kind words. Doc, yes, the KLR is fine for two-up in the Andes,
we have been on the high passes with no problems.

If not for the contemporary clothing on the young boy in the first B&W pic, it could be from 40 years ago. Amazing pics as usual, OG. I love Ride Peru day.

We were having lunch last week with a friend, Duane, our conversation turned to motorcycle rides and motorcycles that we still own and would never sell. One of Duane's motos is a 1965 Honda 250 Dream that he still rides, he rode this Honda from Panama to Minnesota on in 1966, I'm uploading some of his photos for you guys, what a ride from simpler times.

That's Duane in the center with his amigo and amiga
