Do you have a Teikei carburetor? I have a Teikei MV28 carburetor in my Zong, and it does an excellent job.

That's exactly how I feel about most of the China bikes. The interchangeability is awesome!

What's awesome is Sandy on guitar. I love how she has to wear a diving helmet, yet they can have pyrotechnics.

Conrats on getting it running! I bought a complete Zong wiring harness for peanuts from Taobao; maybe that would help you.

YEA MV30P carb not to impressed in the design over all but it seemed to clean up and seal up so it works for the moment

That's a good carburetor. Personally, I would not change it. My Teikei MV28 carburetor has performed flawlessly for almost 57,000 miles. My carb is virtually identical to the Teikei MV28 carburetor installed on all the recent models of the Yamaha TW200 motorcycles, except my carburetor uses a single throttle cable. Your carb is slightly larger than mine.

Good work on the starter. I suggest you check the light switch, connections, and wiring.

found a short or lose wire in the harness and it makes the lights on the dash blink but still no tail light...... or rear turn signals

Always wear shoes when soldering.

Congratulations!

You can probably get a suitable replacement flasher at the local, auto parts store. Do you have a 2-prong, or 3-prong flasher?

3 pin but one leg has 16V continues, one leg has 7.5V continues and the 3ed is the ground the flasher i was using WAS a replacement the capacitor shot out after looking in to the matter also i have a + charge running in my ground that makes my turn signals being LED slightly glow i think its part of the flasher short tho
