It'll be cool to get it running, maybe even post a video when you do?

Cheers!

For sure, give me something to point my canon vixia at... Haven't used it since penticton...

Got the battery and some oil today. Put the foot pegs on, they look really good.

I'm glad to hear you are working on the bike once again, Jim. When you have time, please post another photo so we can see your progress!

Not yet, I started a new job and have been working more. Also, I basically just need to do the carbs now and I don't know what I'm doing with them so I haven't been pushing too much to work on it, my dad and his friend will help though when I do.

I ordered the new tires, tubes, and rim strips earlier this week. Today I went and put on the new front fender, and changed the tire and tube (I will do the rear another day). Also now shown in the picture is the engine in the frame. It's a cell phone pic so it isn't the clearest.

Love the Out of Service tag.

Your bike has really great lines, and it's a style that I'm going to try to emulate with our new project.

How is that blasting cabinet working out?

Yeah I guess the tire shop left it on my dad's truck last time it was in for new tires and he didn't notice it until he got home

I haven't used the cabinet in a while, theres so much stuff around it right now... I used it to clean up the foot pegs though and it worked really well... I'm going to switch the sand out for glass bead before I start the ct70 though. I don't have much left that needs any blasting on the 350.

Do you have a rusty version of that front fender available? The profile is perfect.

Yes, it's not really rusty just has pitting in the chrome. I painted the inside of it flat black. Hope it works for you
