I wouldn't mind going a little bigger on the screen, because we have a lot of bugs and flying sand/rocks in AZ. The other day someone randomly stopped in my driveway while I was working on my bike, and he had an N700. The screen on it had an adjustable airfoil at the top to redirect air for a particular rider's needs. That seems awesome. But they are only made to fit specific bikes.

The RX4 has some adjustments
Doesn’t fit the RX3 unless a major reconstruction

No, you can get them for just about any bike. I have one on my RX3 and Versys 650 that I got on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Mo...reen+extension

There are other styles available also. I believe that there was a RX3 owner, winyoochanok, located in Thailand who made a larger windscreen and sold it other to RX3 owners for $50 or so. Here's an old thread:

http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...ger+windscreen

The adjustable extension works really well, especially on the RX3 after I installed the Seat Concepts saddle. The firmer foam raised me up about an inch, which put the top of my helmet into the slipstream off the windscreen; this in turn caused a lot more wind noise. Adding the extension and tilting it forward has corrected that. Much quieter rides now.

Great, I'll order that extension. Maybe I'll actually log into FB to see if he's still selling that.

I picked up that little one in your last post. $24 on Amazon, put it together last night but didn't install it yet. Seems solid enough, although the lever was very rough around the edges. I have sandpaper though. I'm suspicious of the angular corners causing noise or turbulence, but whatever, I have a HUGE belt sander and other cutting tools.

For little stuff like that I think your shipping cost probably doesn't make it worth it? Also there's the Amazon gratification of having it the next day, and if I don't like it, they will pay to take it back...

it is in the neighborhood of USD$15 to my house then shipping to you - You are correct.
BUT without your guys or peoples ideas links and seeing prices on line ideas are limited, so looking at it was worthwhile even if a NO GO on this item
