When you do this post up some pics of how you accomplished it I've been rubbing my head trying to come up with an idea without having to cut and re weld the pipe.

I used a 5000 watt heat gun, it became pliable after 5 minutes of sweeping motion heating,

500?

5000 would need a 25-30 amp breaker on a 220v power line.

Thumbs Up New Stirrups

Running out of upgrades as bike approaches it's maiden trip to Horizons Virginia.

http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/events/virginia-2016

Did put some new foot pegs on El Halcon.

http://www.amazon.com/Krator%C2%AE-H...ilpage_o01_s00

Wasn't exactly a plug and play but did't involve any grinding. Just had to cut the spring in half leaving enough extra to toss over the top of the peg. so it only has half a spring, big deal it still works. The good is your foot will not slip off these pegs when standing and they provide a nice wide platform while seated, My feet were always crowding the shifter and brake lever. much better now. The down side is they could sit a little flatter, I may remedy this with a little heat and persuasion. Overall a very good $20.00 investment.

'Crazy Carl' who runs ADVmoto Magazine and Mychinamoto will probably be there since he lives in Virginia. Say hi, and tell him you know 'Culcune'

I bought the same pegs the shifter side had about an eighth of an inch too much clearance just stuck a bolt and nut in between the peg and the other side fixed it right up.

That's a great idea, do you have a picture of how you did it?
