They did a beautiful job in replicating an old board tracker. I wonder if the market will actually bear the price.

Typo on the price? Maybe it's supposed to be $1,100, although that would be too much also!

Gotta love all the Honda stickers and under glow on that one! It's gotta make it worth 3 grand!

Honestly, how much do people think they can polish a turd?

I have to bring it to Bob The Mechanic. It's leaky oil pan gasket has gone from a drip to a nusiance. It's like the Ranger Valdez...

Will also have him change the rotors to get rid of the pulsing pedal under hard braking. I may ask for his opinion on replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets and maybe the pushrods and rocker arms to get rid of the valve tap when the motor is cold...

I've not had to put any money into the old gal since I got her, it's time...

Would be nice, except my goal is to not spend $ on this old truck but rather drive it for the next 10-20 years as is....

Does the engine have to come out for a pan gasket? I know some vehicles it is difficult to drop the pan without at least unbolting the motor mounts. If so probably a good time to address the other things.

I think you can slip the pan out on a 2WD, but I haven't examined the 4WD version. Replacing pushrods and rockers won't likely deal with the noise, since it's likely to be a bad lifter.

It would sure be nice if you were actually hearing an exhaust leak.

X2 on a 5.0

BTW, your truck most certainly is not a turd. It's a really nice survivor.

Throw some 20w50 valvoline racing oil in it with a quart of Lucas. If the oil you drain looks or smells like death, put some cheap oil and cd2 or ATF in it.

Get the gummy out and put the good stuff in!

That's where I expect Bro-in-Law's café to reside. He's single ATM, and he'll polish the aluminum until it's an art form.
