Hmm. . . I will remember this and plan accordingly in my interro. . . I mean, my questioning. . .

I think this is the type of engine.

It is an automatic, but I'm not sure its a CVT. . .

LOL! I was amused by it, and honestly, it may be good to learn to ride on. . .

Still lots of potential there.
Exactly. Best way to get to work for limited experience riding.

Oh, and if you look in the background of the picture, you may see a front wheel that looks very familiar. . . Talk about an easter-egg! LOL!

The CFmoto does have a CVT. Pretty much scooter engine powered.

I really think there is alot of potential in that bike. CFmoto was of better build quality than most Chinese products too.

I spoke with him today, and he qualifies as "knowledgeable" and "competent", so I'll pay his asking price. He says a few other people are trying to get it as well, but I hope my finances line up in time to get it. From what he told me, its been well cared-for for the most part, and is in great condition aside from the issues mentioned in the ad. Wish me luck!

I'm quite interested in learning about a 250 GY6-equipped cruiser. The packaging intrigues me.

I am too. Not too much info on the CFMoto products here.

Weld, The engine is actually related to the honda helix engine and not so much a GY6 variant. Liquid cooled and the cylinder is vertical.

Right, like a 250 Elite. I thought they were referred to as 250 GY6 engines in the China bike world. Not so?

No idea, but I've been trawling Craigslist, and found the same Enduro from earlier reduced to $900. I wonder if it'll be around when I get that much cash together. I should be able to bludgeon down the price, as the "bike shop" would give him less if they knew it didn't run and needed work. . . http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/mcy/4338817057.html

$700 seems high to me since it needs things done.

I like that Zong, but I'd like it more if it was sub-$500.00

Indeed. He's kidding himself if he thinks its worth that much. With the physical damage/wear and tear, plus the battery and other mechanical issues, he's looking at you guys' earlier estimate of $300 or so. I may even offer $400, but that's still a bit high. I will continue to save and see what happens.

If it has a clean title, even $500 is reasonable, since the price seems to be creeping up lately. Everything on that bike can be fixed for cheap through Taobao.

I think $500 is the max. Clear title makes all the difference. Do you plan to ride off-road at all?
