Mine came with one, just like they all do. It is so well integrated into the bike, and so attractive as well it is often overlooked. I find the stock set up on the hawk as good as the tubular racks on the earlier china bikes.

with those wide metal grab bars and the four bolts under those rubber pads , there are a ton of options

Thank you all for your posts and for this site. I've been reading for a few months and I'm pretty much set on getting a Hawk.

Is there an Oklahoma dealer? Is there a preferred online dealer? I don't mind to pay a little more to ensure the MCO and everything goes smoothly.

If you want a physical dealer in Oklahoma, I recommend High Plains in Enid.

For an online dealer, I recommend Q9 Powersports, because I can easily get them on the phone when there is an issue.

Counterbalance Engine

If you get to make recommendations to the engineers could you recommend the next model Hawk comes with a counterbalance engine. I and many others would have bought the Hawk if it came with one. Thanks

Ahh, the chimera of the counterbalanced engine! This non-counterbalance engine drives the oil pump with a gear drive. The counterbalanced engine drives the oil pump with a chain. Unlike older engines with chain drive accesories, the chain is buried inside the cases. Not easy to check or change.
