New replacement engines for GIO 125cc and GIO X33 140cc

Hi,

Just wanted to get a ball park in the event of an engine failure on my GIOs bike, what brand and where could I get replacement engine for the GIO 125cc and X33 140cc oil-cooled engine?

Are lifan direct replacement ?
What's originally in those bikes?
Any online dealer to see pricing?

THank you
Alex

It would be nice if they had a photo for the 140. I'd like to know if the oil cooler is shipped with it.

Based on the fact that it is a replacement engine i would think it wouldn't come with the oil cooler just as the 125cc engine doesn't come with the intake, carb, CDI, etc, it's just the engine.

replacement engine

I talked to a local dealer and he said that most horizontal 125, 110 etc are all direct bolt on. they are built by same company (Lifan) with just different covers with the brand engraved in. Locally I can pick up a 125 for $400 cdn.

They get cheaper if you LOOK around.

The dealer is misinformed. They're certainly not all manufactured by Lifan, although Lifan is one of the major companies.

125 cc

yes , as mentioned there are lots of companys that make the same style of motor.. ZONGSHEN is the best motor from China.. if you google ZONGSHEN & HARLEY DAVIDSON.. you will see that they are going tomake motors for Harley.... the 125 cc for your bike.. is around $200.00 - $250.00 shipped to your door.. I am a dealer for them and I sell them cheap.. I do not charge the high prices like other dealers..
