I've heard of green and red stickers in california.Whats the difference?

The difference is that the green sticker allows you to ride in designated off-road places year round, and the red one only allows you to ride designated off-road areas certain times a year.

Thanks.Always wondered.I got my GY-5 from Tom at RPM the last time i was home.(I drive a semi)I intend to build a rack on my truck to carry it so when i get stuck somewhere for a day or two i can drop it down and ride around town or to wally world.I go to Cali quite a bit.My bike is registured in Mississippiso i should not have any problems there.

Registering and plate cost $39.19.Inspection sticker $5.00.Insurance $123.00 per year.Good to go.

Possible.Sometimes i end up in San Diego or Ontario with time to kill.Don't plan to do any off-roading,just running some errands or go to a movie or being a tourist.

Do you ever take I 8? I live in Yuma if you ever go through here to SD or back to MS.

I don't think the police will bother with you, although they will not honor an AZ plate and registration on a quad or off-road buggy.

Yep.Cross through there.Seen that off road park when you first cross into cali.Also ran from el centro up to blythe and i believe there are 2 parks through there i passed trhrough
