Seat Repair
I have a Linhai 300cc and my seat is starting to come apart at the stitches (where my butt is). How difficult is it to repair this, or should I be looking for another seat?

Duct tape?
I'd be inclined to bring it to a car upolstery shop for repair.

I second the upholstery shop. Probably $75 to be recovered. A repair may be cheaper.
You may be able to fix it yourself if you feel comfortable removing the cover from the pan. Allen

I think Dennis Kirk, Chapparel, or one of those big suppliers have or used to have slip-on covers that basicaly slipped over the seat, then you either took a hot glue gun or staple gun , or both and fastened it over your existing seat. If not, as mentioned it should be pretty cheap to have it done for you.

Okay. I'll give it a try. Now I've been reading about the cheap coolant that they put in the scooter when it is shipped. Can any of you tell me how I can flush out the cheap stuff and put in good clean coolant? And where can I get a repair manual for this scooter?

I would find the lowest point on the scooter for a coolant hose and remove it. Let it drain into a bucket and then fill with water and repeat. That should get most of the coolant out.
Then refill with clean green stuff and ride.

I would think it should be a 50/50 mix with distilled water, no?

Yes, I was hoping he knew that or could read the directions on the bottle. Or even buy the premix stuff. I doubt it holds a gallon. Also going to move this into the scooter forum.

Good point to bring up. We should never assume that people know to read the directions.
