Lifan 400cc cruiser commercial from New Zealand

Thanks to Wild Alaskan's youtube video post, this one was nearby. It looks like a nice bike, but not sure if it ever made it to North America. Anyone know?

Thank you for posting the link to the nice video, Culcune! I had not heard of the Lifan 400 until now. I am not a cruiser fan, but that is a pretty nice bike, with a drive shaft!

Spud, this bike was shown on the old American Lifan website for a couple of years, but I think it was more tease. I think they were gauging interest to see if it would be feasible to go for EPA approval. I could be wrong and it did make it to the US, but no one on chinariders ever mentioned owning one.

I would guess if Lifan had imported this bike, someone on these forums would have bought one; it looks like a pretty nice motorcycle. Thank you for posting the nice video. If Lifan every brought this bike to the United States, someone will probably speak up and let us know about it.

Thank you for posting the link, Paulu. The Lifan site indicates this motorcycle is "coming soon" to the United States. However, many of these motorcycles are announced, but never actually arrive on our shores. Nevertheless, we will certainly keep looking for the LF400.
