When I looked into buying the x-rage 250 then converting it to Dual Sport it was a pain as I'd have to pay for the headlight/signal package plus pay another $100+ to have it inspected have DOT tires put on ( it came with Dirts.) would've ended up spended in excess of $3000.

I take it that that was a completely assembled bike was it not Bud? I would buy it in a crate if possible and save a few bucks.

Well I got a deal today in Canadian prices... I got on the net and found Coast to Coast Motorsports out of Vancouver and he is selling me a lifan 2006 like I want with the invertred forks for $1950 plus taxes in the crate. I will be making my deposit tomorrow!!!
