Wildfire Motors, what d'ya know?
Has anyone ever dealt with these motors/ company before? I was just really curious as to how the motors hold up, how their customer service is, and how hard parts are to find. Their headquarters are only about 30 minutes away from me. Maybe if no one has any idea i'll ride up there one day and find out.

Be very cautious dealing with Wildfire.They have a very bad reputation for lack of support after the sale.If you plan to buy a bike for road use,verify with your local dmv office that the Wildfire brand can be registured in your state.

my son in law bought a wildfire 2 years ago., he had nothing but troubles with it... he ended up junking it out for parts with less than 3000 miles on it. i would stay away from them............

Their products are not all bad. Their customer service is what sucks.
They have a F rating with the BBB mainly for their service. |

Be careful with them. I have heard nothing but bad news about them. They buy the cheapest product the can get and have poor customer support. You can get good quality from a manufacturer as well as bad quality depending on what you tell them to spec in for your scooters. We use Znen and spec in the best quality parts we can get as well as having our own team of engineers at the factory when our scooters are being built.

How many satisfied customers did they actually have? The BBB ratings look worse than the ones on Ebay. At least there, I can see how many positives are there along with the negatives. Just a thought. i dont put a lot of stock in the bbb its more like a club you have to pay to join but everybody goes there to complain and if you really want to find out about somebody ask their coustomers you never hear anybody say anything good i dont know but i bet i havent had a handful of people call me to say good job but i have had complaints some doozies you changed my oil now the brake lights dont work, it runs fine but i found the part $2 cheaper somewhere else what are you going to do about it

I've heard it said in a way that is really easy to understand...
A happy customer might tell one person. An unhappy customer WILL tell 10 people. Unhappy customers are more motivated to "spread the word".

I found My New Local dealer on the BBB. He has been in Business for 6 years and has a perfect rating.
In fact....... Shawn From American Lifan wants this guys as the Areas new American Lifan dealer Since they Crap Canned my Original Dealer Over my MSO fiasco. The BBB has been pretty diligant in following up with me on my Complaint. |

BBB is a joke. I've seen known, terribly deceptive/dishonest businesses on their maintain a "good" reputation. The BBB works for it's paying members (businesses) and it's in their interest to make those businesses look good.
I find that a simple internet search is ones best ally. Sites like Ripoffreport.com are great- and Epinions and even amazon. You can read customers reviews, and make your own determinations (sometimes the reviewers are jerks...which is usually apparent in their schpiel....). Usually, if a business is doing business on the net, if people have complaints, that will also be on the net. One of the reasons I chose to buy from Vbike, was because of the fact that I don't think I found one single complaint on them (not that a few complaints wouldn't be acceptable)...and found such positive comments on various forums. ...as opposed to seeing so many horror stories on other dealers I had researched. |
