The wifes new paint and my latest project!

I realize its not a china bike but i believe the fun and wow factors will definately be a benefit when it is finished....She is a 1980 Honda CB900C CUSTOM with less than 28,000 original miles on it and needs less than $500.00 dollars in parts to make her road worthy.....paid $600 for her.

Cool stuff. Did you paint the engine cases as well on your wifes bike?
I think it looks really good.

The Honda is cool as well. I'm not a fan of the big fairing, but do like
the older bikes. I've actually been missing my 81 Suzuki GS1100 a
lot lately.

Congrat's!

Try the krylon Fusion paint. It has held up well and still looks good. Also used a clear cote over it as well.

Is the Krylon Fusion plastic specific? I've tried dupli-color plastic specific paints before and they don't last. Crack and peel too easily. I'm just too hard on the paint I guess. Painter in our bodyshop says he'd use this fancy $120 per gallon plastic paint, still no guarantee... I've turned to decals, at least for the visible sides.

Yes it is for plastic.
At about 4 bucks a can, I can re-paint if I need to. Infact i could re-paint for free since I only used a little bit. I sandblasted the panels before painting to help with adhesion.
