Bashan 250s b11 starting problem
Got a bashan 250cc it's had a new battery, new starter motor, new starter clutch and flywheel and still turns over like the battery is dead.
Any ideas what is causing this? Any help would be appreciated Thanks |

Check that all your battery connection are clean and tight. This includes ground to frame and connections to starter relay.

Thanks will check all connections and clean and see if that helps. Also I bought a new starter clutch it came with the flywheel included, Do I need a 2 way starter clutch if the quad has reverse? This is the one I bought https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374916202...mis&media=COPY |

Just cleaned all the terminals, ground wire etc and it's still the same, it's like something is taking all the power from the battery before it's getting to the starter motor and then it's not enough juice to start it |

You say it’s had a new battery, what does that mean? If it has a new battery and it is a wet cell is the electrolyte level correct and has it been fully charged? Just a bit confused…thinking out loud

That leads me to believe that your starter is the problem. There was talk here I believe last year about how starters had bad wiring. I would put my hand on the starter while cranking and see if it gets warm or hot quickly. I can’t remember who it was but they showed pictures of the wiring on these cheap starters.
